Breakspine Clan Enforcer Status: Alive Cruel | Sadistic | Commanding | Codependent | Paranoid The Butcher Brothers serve as Grimoire's chief enforcers, keeping the rabble in line. Together, they oversee the slaves trapped inside the Workshop's mines. They crack the whip each morning, forcing the slaves to rise from their filthy beds, and march them back to their barracks at night. The Butcher Brothers are always side by side - eating, sleeping, torturing, and murdering in unison. Every slave in the Workshop fears the two brothers, for each brother is equally cruel. And when they are together, their cruelty is multiplied twofold. Before coming to the Workshop, Breakspine and Snapjaw made a name for themselves as arena fighters. They called their team 'The Butcher Brothers' - and it was an apt name. They drew huge crowds to their matches. Whenever the brothers faced down an opponent, it was certain that guts would fly and heads would roll. Unfortunately, their career as spectacle fighters wouldn't last long. Breakspine, the larger of the two twins, had a strong protective instinct toward his "little" brother, Snapjaw. When Snapjaw suffered a near-fatal injury in the arena, Breakspine decided unilaterally that the two of them had to retire. Breakspine grew highly paranoid about anyone hurting his brother. They tried to make a living as mercenaries, but Breakspine's overly protective instincts made finding clients difficult. The Butcher Brothers often resorted to banditry and thievery to make ends meet. When things seemed at their lowest, though, the two received a letter from a former fan. The fan offered them a lucrative contract with an exclusive employer. The job suited their particular skillset perfectly. It was that letter that brought them to Grimoire's Workshop. They now relish their job as Grimoire's top enforcers. The two brothers serve their master loyally, doing anything that she asks of them. Their new occupation serves as the perfect outlet for their violent urges. Breakspine is the more talkative and boisterous of the two brothers. He is the "leader" and does most of the decision-making. He is extremely protective of Snapjaw and hostile toward strangers, although he can be quite friendly once he warms up to you. He is madly in lust in Hargrave, the brothers' chosen mate, and sometimes dislikes sharing her - even with his brother. He also enjoys sparring and wrestling with Visceris, the mirror who originally recruited them. However, while Breakspine is more social, that does not make him kinder. He is still a vicious killing machine - and he'll slaughter anyone who dares to test him. |
