One of the Patrol Captains of the Rest's guard force. Rapier is an upbeat and friendly young dragon, the contrast to both her father and her fellow Patrol Captain Stormfast. Where they are stern and reserved, she is open and welcoming, and is always willing to help newcomers to the force.

Rapier was one of the first dragons to be hatched in the Rest. Her mother, Stormwind, had almost no hand in raising her, and she was mostly brought up by her father, Bloodbender. Though he was kept busy by his job as a guard, he still found time to connect with his young daughter. This led to Rapier wanting to follow in his footsteps, which once she was old enough, she did. Trained by both Bloodbender and Sutera, Rapier quickly earned a place in the guard. After being appointed Patrol Captain, she decided to take it more seriously than anything else. Any who claimed that her position was a result of favoritism were quickly proven (mostly) wrong by Rapier's incredible talent for management.

Now, Rapier is very well known among the Rest's citizens. She offers to teach basic self-defense to any who want it, and is often taken up on her offer by those who are passing through. When she's not on duty, she often helps her father or Fugue with their various smaller duties.
