BIOGRAPHY


XXXKopaidyn was hatched and raised in the Calyx Coven. He was the only egg of his clutch and was abandoned by his biological parents on the Coven's territory. His egg was discovered by one of the Coven's Scouts, who took it to the Hatchery. Rheawen kept the egg warm and safe until it hatched into a tiny Tundra. One of the Hatchery Mothers named Honey, who has since passed away, named him Kopaidyn and raised him during his time in the Hatchery.

XXXAs he grew up, Kopaidyn felt very lonely. He didn't make friends easily despite the numerous other baby dragons he interacted with at the Hatchery. Even when he grew and moved on to attending the Academy, he struggled to make friends. Nobody seemed to enjoy spending time with him or even talking with him. The only dragons he made friends with were his Professors at the Academy. It was actually thanks to one of his Professors that he discovered his love of astronomy. He had gotten into trouble with Professor Desinessa, and as punishment she made him help out at the Observatory. As soon as Kopi discovered what astronomy was all about, he knew that it was what he wanted to do when he graduated.

XXXToday, Kopaidyn is the youngest dragon that works at the Coven's Observatory. He gets along well with Plinius and considers the Imperial his only true friend, not including his mate. As the youngest member at the Observatory, Kopi has to keep the place clean and lead many of the tours around the Observatory. He doesn't mind these tasks though because it means he gets access to the telescope and gets to learn as much about astronomy as his heart desires!

XXXShilanomia is Kopi's mate. The two met when Shila first ventured into the Coven's territory. She had left her clan and was looking for a place to live. Her arrival was quite fortuitous, for the Coven's mortician had recently passed away, and the Coven was looking for a new dragon to take his place. Shila jumped at the chance to become the Coven's new mortician. A few months after the two Tundras got to know one another, Shila asked Kopi if he'd be interested in being her mate, as the male Tundra was too shy to make the first move.

XXXPeggy is Kopaidyn's Nightmare Familiar. She came to Kopi shortly after he witnessed the death of Honey, the Hatchery Mother who had named him and raised him as her own. Honey had basically been Kopi's mother, so after her death he was grieving heavily. When he saw Peggy in the forest, the Tundra was at first scared. But the Nightmare cautiously approached him before getting close enough to nuzzle him gently. He realized the equine was trying to console him, and ever since then the two are always together.
