 BIOGRAPHY XXXBeautolios was born in the Ashfall Waste and grew up in the town of Cinderslag. He was kidnapped as a hatchling and forced to help the blacksmiths craft tools, weapons, and armor in the forges spread across Cinderslag. When he got old enough to work the forges himself, he was put to work crafting alongside the blacksmiths he'd been helping. The mask and gloves he wears today cover burn scars from his forging days. XXXAfter many years of dealing with burns and inhaling hot smoke, Beau devised a plan of escape. In the quietest part of the night, he snuck out of his sleeping quarters. Keeping to the shadows, the Bogsneak left Cinderslag and never looked back. He traveled for several months in search of the Viridian Labyrinth, a place of greenery and life that he'd heard stories about during his time in the Ashfall Waste. He found the Calyx Coven and was immediately taken in and welcomed. XXXBeau is super gay. He's also not stupid. When he first met Ferdinand, he knew that the other Bogsneak was immediately smitten with him. Ferdinand tried to hide his attraction. Beau attempted subtle hints that he returned Ferdi's feelings, but the red Bogsneak never caught on. Realizing Ferdi would never figure it out if he didn't just come out with it, Beau confessed to Ferdi that he was falling in love with him. Ferdi just about fainted. The two have been happily living together in the Calyx Coven ever since Beau's declaration, and the two could not be happier! XXXToday, Beau teaches as a Professor at the Coven's academy. Though he was asked if he'd like to work in the Coven's forge alongside their blacksmith, Beau declined. He stays away from the forge and has not touched a single forging tool since leaving Cinderslag behind. To this day, he has nightmares that he is trapped back in Cinderslag, being forced to burn himself again and again. Sometimes he wakes up shouting in the middle of the night from his dreams, but Ferdi is always there to console him. XXXGoldie is Beau's Coppercoil Creeper Familiar. Though the spider-like golems are normally found in Tempest Spire, Goldie was brought to the Ashfall Waste to aid in the forges of Cinderslag. Like Beau, she was forced to help the blacksmiths. Unlike the other Fire dragons, Beau treated Goldie with respect and kindness. That's probably why the creature stowed away on his back when she saw him escaping Cinderslag. |
