Fiercer than Galechka and stronger than Ivarr, Corrente was a warrior from the day she hatched. Born into a clan who was made to fight against the Eleven, Corrente's single goal in life was to kill every dragon who worshipped the gods, believing them to be worshipping false creatures. Corrente idealized the leaders of her clan so much, that her belief in them caused her to worship them as much as the dragons she hated. When she discovered this, she fled the clan. Eventually, she arrived in the Empire, just shortly after Aislinn took over. Corrente was lost, and swearing loyalty to Aislinn was something she knew she needed to do. So she did, and found that fightinf for Aislinn was her calling. No one fought for Aislinn better than her, and the Pearlcatcher enjoyed her company... despite Corrente's rampant xenophobia. Her first years relating to love ended up being harsh for Corrente. Her first found love in Bainisk, left to serve the Tidelord. Hyper was next, but her xenophobia made him leave her. Finally, Corrente met Azuolas. Although they weren't entirely in love due to Corrente's previous altercations, they respected her. Azuolas was completely in love, constantly being clingy with Corrente and unable to walk away even when she snapped at him. Soon after, Corrente realized she had so many grandhatchlings and great-grandhatchlings because of her multiple affairs. Her family became known as The Strongest Winchesters, with Corrente as the head of the clan. Like the other biggest clan, Euphemia, Corrente cared very little about her progeny. She rules them with an iron fist, and even Aislinn fears leaving her in power will have dangerous consequences in the future. |
