Oh how surprised everyone had been when the scavenging team turned up with a lonely little Light egg from their latest trip! The thing was they ended up having to barter with a Harpyclan patrol who found it first. Worried for the unborn dragon's safety they gave the harpies almost all the other treasures and trinkets they had found that day in exchange for the egg.
It was a very good thing they got her when they did, no more than a minute after they returned to the clan is when little Arienia hatched.
Many dragons doted on her. They felt sorry for her since she had no parents and some more spiritual dragons whispered that she may have been blessed by one of the Eyes of the Lightbringer. This proved to be nothing short of true when Ari showed more and more magic sensitivity and ability than a regular fae dragon. She and Evangeline share a close bond.
