Branta

Branta prided herself in her self-control. She wasn´t the most calm of dragons but at least she knew how to restrain herself. No matter what the temptation was, she considered herself able to resist it. It didn't matter how much she craved the flesh of those she helped, or how sometimes she wanted to bash someone's skull in.

She had followed those impulses at first, bathing in the blood of the foes conquered and feasting on their entrails with gusto. It was soon she discovered that it didn´t make said impulses stop, only made them stronger. It took a lot of time before she could stop her blood-tainted ways.

She draws strenght from that past instead of letting it weaken her. She believes that 'might makes right' like some of her fellow Wildclaws but to her, sometimes kindness and mercy can be strenght as well. She does not let her past weight her down, but that does not mean she doesn´t want to make up for her sins by serving dragonkind as an errant knight, living by her own will

While she has been offered a home in the clans she helps more than once, she always rejects them. She lives an ascetic kind of life, forgoing what is not necessary for her survival. And she is happy that way, traveling through nature alone one of the only thing s that quiet down the dark impulses she holds.
