Godgyth is an odd one. She wanders around aimlessly, lost in her own thoughts more often than not, and when pushed to relay them, they are rambling and border on nonsensical. She has a fascination for the dead bodies of the creatures she kills, and can frequently be found studying bones and muscle structure, investigating with a careful and shrewd eye. Godgyth's odd behavior and fascinations have made her somewhat feared in the ranks of the Children, afraid that she would grow to be interested in necromancy. But she earned her Blood-Mark just like everyone else...

Godgyth's interest in anatomy and biology were, at first, purely curiosity about how those creatures worked, excused in her head as trying to find ways to kill them more effectively. Over time, that curiosity evolved into somewhat of an appreciation, as she found a certain beauty in them. Again those were excused by her as purely artistic interest that she tried to express unsuccessfully a few times, doubts and thoughts about her familly's duty carefully kept quiet and out of sight.

Once she got her Blood-Mark, she did not stay long in the Bone Spire. Her original goal had been Light territory, in the hopes of studying their records of emperors, however along the way she heard some rumours of a clan in the border between Lightning and Light harbouring an emperor. That is how she ended up in Lucent Fields. At first it seemed to have been a false alarm, as the supposed emperor were only Apep and Mehen, The Serpents, but she decided to stay and joined the town guard.

Things were going well, as the Fields had no real undead around, save a few spirits that were under the protection of things she definitely could not take on. That is until she caught a glimpse of Delphos by the shore on an early morning patrol. She tried to follow the emperor's trail, but it seemed futile. That is, until Serilla confronted her about hunting her mentor. That first meeting was rather tense for both of them, but that did not stop Godgyth from seeking the aspiring necromancer again and again. The two slowly developed a friendship, as Godgyth finally found someone to freely discuss her thoughts and questions with, and Serilla was quite delighted to find someone to talk about her studies.

Now, that friendship blossomed to something more, and both of them are very happy together (as well as waiting for the chance to ask a newer acquaintance to join them). Godgyth still considers herself part of the Blood-Marked, and she hasn't told her family of what exactly her partner does, but her opinon of the undead, as well as her standards for what she considers her prey, are much more nuanced and toying a greyer area. She knows she would be disowned from her family should they find out the company she keeps, and she quietly dreads the day one of them visits her and finds out.

Serilla
Her partner and best friend. It's not rare to find them both out in the Prairie talking for hours on end.

Michael
A newer acquaintace. Dae pretends to be very against Serilla's pursuits, but in the end is rather fond of the pair, as they are of daer.

Delphos
Serilla's 'mentor'. Godgyth has rarely met them, but those few times have left her with a healthy amount of both fear and respect for the emperor.

Lisha
The Captain of the guard, and as such Godgyth's boss. She welcomed Godgyth into her flock with ease, and was a big part of making the mirror feel like she belonged.

Paladin
Another guard. While Paladin is quite reserved, they have bonded on occasion over their partners, as well as their respective struggles with what they were raised to be.
