Oakwood was at home in the Earth Flight for a long time - until she no longer was, finding herself among the dragons on the exaltation row. The memories of what were the reasons to begin with are blurry - something about there not being enough space to accommodate to all the dragons that lived on the clan's territory. Not enthusiastic to serve a dragon deity for the rest of her life just yet, Oakwood collected what few belongings she had left, after having to close down her small self-owned cafe that was also her humble abode, and set out to find someplace else where she could find a new home. The coatl would rather spend a long time wandering the land, than give up, and so did she end up in the territories of the Viridian Labyrinth. That is how Oakwood eventually found herself entering a curious, seemingly unexplored path - only to end up completely lost in the forest, feeling like she's walking in circles. Deciding to follow her gut, the coatl took a different route, until she found herself someplace with curious cave systems - carefully hidden away from the outsiders, but definitely inhabited. This felt safe. This felt welcoming. This felt right. Locals, welcoming and friendly, clearly living a simple, happy life - something Oakwood so dearly missed. This small place has become a new home, where she had opened a new cafe, to keep the others happy, as well as repay and show gratitude for being accepted here. The longer Oakwood spent time in here, the more blurry and out of reach the past memories became. By now, the coatl can't seem to be able to recall the details anymore - not that she minds. What's the point in dwelling on the past, when the present is so picture-perfect. Right? | ________ |
