A stranger that arrived from an unknown place and wandered into the Hidden Forests, no one really knows who he is or where he came from. For all they know, even the name he goes by might be just an alias to conceal his real identity. Most dragons feel wary of Hazelwing for a reason even they sometimes don't understand, but many get an uneasy feeling around the coatl. As a result, he doesn't have that many friends, and a lot of townsfolk only know him as Oakwood's partner that helps her run the small local cafe. Many wonder what it is that Oakwood sees in such a stand-offish dragon, but for everyone it's plain to see that she truly loves him. If one gets to know Hazelwing, however, they would find that he's just not the best when it comes to social interactions or expressing himself. He always got distrustful stares for the multiple eyes covering each side of his body, and as such, had been deemed cursed, ghastly and revolting, seen as something unsightly and accused of bringing nothing but misfortune. Exalted and forced to seek someplace else to reside in, Hazelwing now always makes sure to cover up his multigaze as much as possible, and tries not to show up outside unless necessary. He is, however, very protective of the ones he loves, very caring and observant, can be quite bashful and not at all as scary as everyone assumes. Due to lack of positive social experience, Hazelwing even comes off as awkward, quiet and reserved. He can sound somewhat monotonous, but it's due to his struggle of expressing himself. If one gives getting to know him a chance, they would find that this coatl is more kind and approachable than he may seem at first. | ________ |
