Heyes likes to talk. He's constantly chattering about this or that, especially when he's nervous, and is always ready with a charming smile to back up whatever story he's spun.

Despite his innocent appearance, however, Heyes spent a not inconsiderable amount of time stealing and conning his way into money and food and, although he insists he's gone straight, he still tries to keep a low profile most of the time.

Heyes has never been much of a fighter; he'd much rather use his silver tongue to get out of situations. The problem with that is that he has something of a tendency to exaggerate, and the more people start to listen, the worse it gets.

Heyes had a partner once, but they had a disagreement and went their separate ways. Now, Heyes is of the opinion that the decision was a poor one, but even if he could bring himself to apologise, he wouldn't know where to start looking.

Instead, he has befriended a marbled jester whom he's called 'Kid'. Though she can't speak back, she always seems to understand him and even helps out when he manages to find trouble again. Unlike Heyes, she's quick to bite and her sharp teeth have saved them from more than one sticky situation.

As a Skydancer, Heyes finds his form better fits his mind. He's lithe, agile, fast, exactly as he thinks he should be. Admittedly, he'll miss being able to make his way through a crowd with his broad Guardian shoulders, but this way he can be in and out and leave no one any the wiser.
