Faraan finds value in everything. She collects trinkets and other items that may seem worthless to anyone else, but she knows the art of trading - either for better items or more treasure. She considers herself a rival to Luach as she wants to accumulate more treasure than he has, and even though she would never admit it, she is quite envious of his abilities.

Interestingly enough, such rivalry doesn't exist between her and Samus, the bounty huntress who is also on the hunt for enemies and riches. Faraan thinks of her and her abilities as useful to the Order, but not of any importance to Faraan herself. "Anyone can fight", Faraan thinks. "But not everyone knows how to trade."
