________A miracle child born, as his colors suggest, in a family of Plague aristocrats. What his current appearance doesn't show is that he was born a Guardian.
________He has become very used to breed and gene changing. His personal fortune allows such excesses. His obsession with modifying his appearance, as well as being a trait commonly shared amongst narcissistic aristocrats, is the best way he's found to wash away his crimes. New identity, new name, new opportunities to cause mayhem. The police isn't very efficient in Plague anyway. Each clan has it's own militia. You're looking for a troublesome Pearlcatcher? But I'm a Fae! I look nothing like him! He has freckle! Move, I'm Rich™!

________We could pretend to speculate, but at the end of the day, we all know he's that way because a spoiled kid like him is raised to think he's allowed every caprice, that he's better than the lower classes. Isn't he Destiny, the Gifted AllSeeing? Add to this a boring castle life, and you got the perfect mix to make, well. Someone who would rather burn the whole world down than fade away.
