 DOCTOR ROT ★ Rot was known as a sweet and caring fae before the plague corruption had taken over his body. After the corruption, he is known as a psychotic, cruel dragon with a need for blood. Nightshade, the empire's past overlord, was able to help him through his mental snaps and keep himself from harming himself more. With her bloodline's exile, he finds it harder to keep control. Rot's body is covered in sores and lacks scales. Underneath his coat reveals his ribs and just how thin he is. Quite often, bloody bandages cover his tail and hind legs as he is known to attack them violently. His gloves hide his decaying hands. He is also known to fall gravely ill at random times. STORY (Needs Updating)★ Rot was born as a normal little fae in a small clan in the Abiding Boneyard. He grew up in this little clan without a problem, enjoying whatever life he can get in the land of death and disease. He made many friends that came and went as they passed through the clan, learned medical procedures, and grew to be a medic within the clan. Life was swell. One day as a young adult, he fell gravely ill. The illness turned out to be a plague corruption that was starting to melt away his scales and leave painful blisters. This contamination caused him to be driven out into the wasteland, as it was feared it would spread to the rest of the clan. There he struggled to survive, eating whatever beetles and larvae he could get his hands on. As the corruption grew, his mind grew weaker. It would take months before Nightshade, the former leader of the Forsaken Empire, would find him. By then he was a frail form of his former self, the contamination almost completely taking over his body. Nightshade saw some usefulness in the little fae and decided to save him, bringing him into the empire. There, he got the help he needed to regain his strength and repair his mind. Most of it was repaired, but it would never be the same. Once he had gotten stronger, Nightshade placed him as the empire's doctor to treat the wounds of the injured, treat the ill, and research the plague. ~~~~~ When Nightshade and Vectus had been driven out of the empire, Rot was imprisoned and faced possible death. His mind grew weak at the thought, leading him towards the fate he had faced when cast out from his former clan. As he waited for an answer, he found a tiny buttersnake that seemed to change frequently. Rot took interest in him and decided to name him Noodle, caring for him more than himself. This would be the start of an unbreakable bond. It took a month before Rot was finally let out. By then, Affliction had gained control of the empire and had cast out the rebels that brought its possible downfall. Affliction gave Rot his position back and formed the kind of friendship Rot had with Nightshade. With these changes came a new member to the empire's infirmary, Putricide. At first Rot had been cold towards Putricide, but over time the mirror and fae found a shared insanity and became close friends. To this day, Rot and Putricide continue to cause trouble and aid dragons that are injured and ill. The two also continue to work on plague strands and finding out what they do.
