» Fenris Fyrmann | the Keeper of Wishes

________NOT A NICE GRANDPA

Old and wise, Fenris has seen it all. And he's really not all that impressed with it. Prone to grumbling about the old times, Fenris spends most of his days lurking about in the Vault with Skade, who is as much of a recluse as he is. On the off chance he's not working, one can probably find him on his lonesome under one of the enchanted trees, gazing out over the vast seas.

He doesn't have many friends, which doesn't surprise him nor anyone else, but those few he does care for he tries to play nice with. Doesn't always succeed, it should be said, but those considering him a friend tend to be as prickly and thick-skinned as he. Or they're one of the few, rare ones that somehow get along with everyone, for one has to possess some innate ability of- well- something to manage to convince Fenris into being one's friend.

» His trusted familiar, Meatloaf, is notorious for biting. Don't waste any time on him; that little cretin will never like anyone but Fenris.

» Is about as fun as gangrene. Fenris laughs maybe thrice a year- he's straight up not a chill guy. He might not be outright mean, but he sure ain't nice.

» Has an extreme aversion to needles. His yearly checkups are truly a dreadful event that nobody enjoys, though the healers somehow get it done despite his protests.

» Very fond of the colour red, particularly darker reds. Has decked out his den with a very fire-y theme, which is probably the most effort he's put into anything since arriving.

Fenris' main job within the clan is to catalog and keep track of any dwindling supplies or necessary purchases.

To his own frustration, they tacked on helping other dragons manage their personal hoards and spending habits. And if it wasn't for the fact that it allows him to frequently call everyone idiots, he probably wouldn't be putting up with it any longer, for it's a tedious task.

But that is the curse of being good at what he does. Fenris know what's missing at all times, able to recall current stocks from the top of his head, and he'll easily spot any wayward spending. He remembers what the different dragons are saving up for, what they wish for, and can nigh on perfectly predict when they'll be able to purchase what they wish for based on their general habits. In his own way, he spreads joy, and perhaps there's a nice grandpa down there, somewhere?

No, probably not. At least he surely won't admit it. He's proud of what he does, that's true, but the fact that it benefits others and bring them joy is purely an accidental side effect of it all.

At the end of the day, Fenris is one of those dragons it's beneficial to be in the good graces of. He's not vindictive, for that's too much personal investment as far as he's concerned, but his help is invaluable- both in financial matters and general life issues. Being on decent terms with him will only do one well. If it's worth putting up with his attitude?

Well, that's a whole different matter.
