Horizon Sage

Story

Sirenia came to this clan from another. She used to be the seer for a water clan before she travelled to this one. When she came to this clan, they were living in the Starwood Strand. She was greeted warmly and felt welcomed by her new friends. She had been worried whether they would like her and accept her, but her anxieties slowly faded away as she became part of the clan. Bhasura was especially interested in her powers. As a horizon sage, she can see the branching possibilities that come from two choices. She was Bhasura's most trusted advisor and helped him plan attacks on the Shade.
With this experience she learned a ritual that would let her detect Shade-borne corruption. A very useful skill, Bhasura said. After one such Shade hunting expedition, she walked back into the main square and everyone popped out cheering. Bhasura had set up a surprise party for the success of their Shade hunting and to honor Sirenia's contributions.
The little coatl squeaked in excitement, her crest ruffling nervously. It felt nice to be accepted for her uniqueness and not outcasted. This clan was the best home she had ever known. After the party she cried happy tears for being a real part of a community. She started participating in more clan festivals and enjoying life with her clanmates.
Good times don't last forever, and soon a big change came to the clan. Bhasura and Ciksura's epic battle attracted too much attention and their clan was swarmed with scientists and armed guards. Sirenia was nervous and hid in her room, trying to avoid the chaos outside. She was scared when confronted so her clanmate Leopardgust personally took over her case. The scientists wanted to study and test her powers. It took her a while to adjust to the new containment procedures and even longer to adjust to moving to the Fortress of Ends. It's cold here and less sparkly than Arcane.

Abilities

Sirenia was assigned the designation SCP 234: Inkstained Everseer. She is cooperative and timid in containment. She is not dangerous and has been assigned the containment class of

and the threat level of

due to her mysterious abilities. Due to her timid and nervous nature, the researchers with her should build a relationship with her and be friendly. Gem is the main researcher that works with her and they have become good friends since Sirenia's containment. Sirenia is given a small apartment in the safe dragon anomaly dorms.
Sirenia can see the future when presented with two or more options. She can carefully examine the paths leading from that choice. The further she looks into the future, the hazier and less accurate she is. This ability is useful for not only Bhasura but for the Foundation. She assists the Foundation with her powers; they've told her that the more she uses her powers the safer she'll be able to keep her clanmates. She can also conduct rituals to speak to ghosts and sense Shade presence. She has been designated as an infohazard because of her potential to see future events and give knowledge that can cause paradoxes. For example, if she sees a dragon's death and tells him about it he could potentially evade death, defying her prediction which has been shown to cause dangerous anomalous effects as the timeline corrects itself.
