- artist working for ara at their atelier
- forced invited to the paragon as ara's plus one
- dealt with parents that wanted him to stop using his powers. why can't he just stop using them?
- forced to mediate when parents argued with one another
- estranged himself from rich parents once he graduated college
- ara noticed his magic and asked him if he wanted to work for them. “oh Man my idol likes my work??? absolutely, i wanna work for him”
- uses illusions to entertain. ara takes advantage of this
- poor dude was super hyped to work for his idol, only to realize they're a total jerk. he has no choice but to work for them. please help him

- keeps to himself. worries he’ll get taken advantage of if he opens up
- struggles with needing approval, especially from dragons like ara or his parents. yes, he knows it's stupid to try and impress them, but his brain doesn't care and wants the praise anyway
- would rather be left alone doing art than interact with dragons

- barely knows anyone else on the cruise. intimidated by snobbish/rich status (which is... a good amount of passengers)
