Snake charmer | Seer | Deceiver

I once had a dream in which my true nature was revealed to me. In it, I held a small, fragile mouse in my hands. A cherished pet. This creature brought me much pleasure, and in turn it trusted me, seeking me out for comfort and protection. But eventually over time, my interest faded, and I grew tired of caring for the little thing, affection giving way to boredom and resentment.

One day, as I stared at the mouse playing by my feet, a sense of urgency struck as something took hold of me - the sudden desire to free myself of its burden. I could no longer pretend that I cared, so in one swift movement I crushed my beloved pet underfoot, the broken body I then offered to a snake.

I watched as the mouse was devoured, seeing something that was once so important to me vanishing for good, and I smiled in satisfaction. You see, my happiness is fleeting, never quite reaching my heart. I feel things, but they don't penetrate deep enough to have any lasting effect, and the emotions ebb and flow like tides, like the waning of the moon. Nothing lasts forever.

Fun fact: her name means 'flame' in Finnish, and she was bought pre-named.
