No one's quite sure exactly how, but Myfi was somehow born with runes instead of gems, and was always viewed as special and unique because of it. Though some thought her strange or terrifying, most of her family saw this as an opportunity for her to branch out from her predecessors' legacy and blaze her own path in life. With a mother like Melosa, always appearing perfect and composed, and a father like Vudan, rowdy, but never seeming to trip or meet hardship, Myfi found this hard. She didn't want to be viewed as separate from such incredible dragons and wished only to be thought of as their child. This mindset didn't last long.

As a mere dragonet, she was whisked away by a pair of skywing magic-users who wished to tap into her innate magic potential to capture it for themselves. They had known her whereabouts by carefully monitoring her parents and brother, plotting out routines and observing actions for different events. When no one came for her after three whole days, Myfi felt betrayed. Part of her wanted to believe that they simply couldn't find her, but she was so demoralized by the situation that, even as help did come, she wasn't ready to be hunky-dory so easily. Myfi decided to stay with the strange skywings under the condition that they wouldn't try to use her and, instead, would train her in the ways of magic. She's been with them since.

Myfi has an extremely tangible sense of self. She knows what exactly she is capable of, or at least her boundaries, and likes to destroy the expectations of others in radical ways. Though many look at her and see her parents or even her grandfather, Myfi does everything in her power to keep her lineage concealed and, thus, unimportant in regular conversation. Her only goal is to find her own calling in life alongside her familiar, and if she has to embark on a journey or get wrapped up in hi-jinks, then so be it. Her determination and strong will are unmatched, and she won't back down until she has proven, beyond a doubt, that she is good enough for herself and all those around her.
