Daeben

Hopeless romantic, Daeben is practically a professional third-wheel in the relationships of others. Because of this, he's viewed as somewhat creepy and unapproachable, especially with his off-putting enthusiasm on the subject of love. He could spend hours and hours explaining why love at first sight is real, and even more time trying to convince you that he's fallen for you, but few give him that chance. The only dragon to open themselves to him entirely is Myfi. With her insecurities, especially when the two were younger, Myfi gravitated naturally to the beacon that Daeben appeared as. His seemingly undeniable sense of self-worth made Myfi extremely interested in befriending him, as she hoped to learn from his methods. Daeben couldn't remember the last time that anyone had actively tried to approach him, so he leapt at the opportunity to grow close with Myfi. Daeben is extremely supportive and, though a bit odd, showers praise upon all those around him almost religiously, mostly due to a hidden inferiority complex he developed from years spent in the shadows. Myfi helped him overcome this part of himself through her faith in him, though he still holds intense adoration for the other clan members. Daeben's only crippling flaw is his cowardace, as it holds him back from getting out there and becoming a beacon for even more like he and Myfi. He's especially proud of his daughter, Diabolical, as she's proven to be much the same as him, though she's made close friends with Graceful, Starshine's daughter.
