Biography

Aristodemos Calos
"I have a lot to prove, I know that, and big shoes to fill. But I can do it."

he/him | bisexual | single | miasmic-bludval royal guardsman
All his life, Aristodemos has felt like he's had something to prove. His mother, with her hands full at home, encouraged him to chase his dreams elsewhere. With the help of his father, he learned to fight and tame animals, and then promptly took his skills to the Miasmic Kingdom where he at once offered himself to the royal guard.

Amused by his eagerness and seeing great promise in him, Guard Captain Tamara took him under her wing personally to train him. She found him to be difficult to train, too easily wrapped up in his own head and struggling to get over the obstacles he himself placed in his way. But she never gave up on him, and taught him everything she could.

By the time Tamara stepped down after waking from her coma, Aristodemos had long since been named a guardsman proper. But with Kairon taking over, Tamara approached Aristodemos with her true intentions; she had always been trying to prepare him to take on the title of Guard Captain, and Kairon was only a temporary solution.

Aristodemos' training continues, and though he doesn't ever think he'll be ready, even seasoned warriors like Kairon admit that his time will come sooner than he expects.

Tamara had her eyes on Aristodemos from the day he enlisted. Even Kairon is aware of and approves of her choice of successor. Though Aristodemos has a bit of a low self-esteem, it has spurred him to train twice as hard. The idea of becoming Guard Captain is a daunting one, but Aristodemos does have the skillset for it; Captain Tamara made sure of that, and his parents too had a hand in setting him up for success.
