Biography

PROJECT: Supersoldier
"I don't believe in fate. I was built with a purpose and that purpose is gone."

it/he | preference unknown | single, disinterested | miasmic-bludval royal guardsman
Built by Ghanymura's Guard Captain and second-in-command Tord, the Supersoldier was designed to mimic an organic body but with the battle prowess, flexibility, and sheer power of a machine. The resulting construct was encoded to follow only Tord's orders, ignoring even Queen Ghanymura unless otherwise stated.

Cold, calculating, and incapable of any capacity for emotion, the Supersoldier terrorized the Bludval Kingdom in the name of keeping order. It had no reservations towards slaughtering innocents to ensure total loyalty to Ghanymura.

Following Ghanymura's death and Tord's execution, the Supersoldier shut down as part of its emergency protocols. For many months it remained as one of many relics of the Bludval Kingdom's first and worst era, until it was uncovered by the legendary weaponsmith, Imet. Imet was eager to take on its project, re-activating the Supersoldier and rewriting its protocols.

As the Supersoldier underwent extreme repairs, Imet reached out to a pair of constructs hidden away in the Charged Barrens: Voltefect and Abayoni eagerly offered their expertise from afar. With their help, Imet was able to develop a functioning AI to replace the Supersoldier's mindless protocols.

Gifted with something akin to sentience and magically charged thanks to Imet's work on his body, the Supersoldier began to adopt a new identity. Built for fighting, he enlisted himself into the royal guard while he struggles to adapt to personhood.

The Supersoldier was originally believed to have been based off of one of Tord's long-gone friends.

The Supersoldier shut down at Tord's execution via the now-defunct RED OMEN protocol.

Because Voltefect provided the source code for his AI personality, they share many traits; however, Voltefect's pacifistic nature has proved confusing and unappreciated by the Supersoldier.
