- arrogant pearlcatcher stereotype
- being light flight only adds to it
- he has IMMENSE breed/flight pride. he makes sure people know it
- comes off as a big snob, so he had nowhere else to go. (the clanmates are mostly just hoping he'll change, and he likely hopefully will)
- secretly really insecure and feels inadequate
- admires traditional imperials and scoffs at others
- needs a slap in the face 24/7
- probably a tsundere

- vorel looks like an absolute mess to him
- "when did you last shower, two years ago?"
- he's envious of vorel's ability to not care and go with the flow
- something changes and somehow he ends up crushing on vorel (they eventually date)

new lore thoughts:
- too blinded by light pride to recognize the dangers/threats within light's lore; even he didn't realize its true potential
- gets overtaken by some demon as a result, kind of the "dark" side of light
- the demon is "touching into that hidden darkness lurking under Light Flight’s gleaming front"
- he has to subdue this beast now, perhaps as a punishment for his arrogance and hubris
- this experience breaks him in a way that's probably necessary
- he keeps the lanterns around to keep it in the light, hoping that will prevent it from growing in power in darkness
- clan is trying to find a way to exorcise or contain the demon, but some people are like "you kind of deserved it dude"
- repentance arc later?
