- - - Despite being born in the Shifting Expanse, Lutetium grew up in arcane territory. Despite possessing a good grasp on magic, her true love was the collecting of different minerals and crystals. From polished pebbles picked up from the beach to the great deposits of the crystalspine reaches.

As she grew older just collecting them wasn't good enough anymore. They had to be organized into categories from crystal structure and color to composition. Trying to extend her collection and knowledge she came into contact with the Stormcliff Institute where she could use their knowledge and machinery in exchange for her research into Arcane's crystal technology.

" Lutetium belongs to the rare earth metals and is one of the rarest of them. Because of the difficult production and purification it is rarely used. The uses are catalysators and in positiron-emmision topography. "
