- - - Since her birth she was the weakest of her siblings in the arts of magic. No matter how much she tried, it wouldn't come to her. Even minor things from creating small lights and fire were hard for her. Her parents were disappointed, their great imperial child was so weak in magical and didn't even posses any other great abilities to balance it out.

Her condition left her alone and she as picked on by many other children or simply pitied by the elders. Not willing to give up she threw herself into her studies more and more. If she only studied enough she would be able to shape up and the others would finally respect her. But despite her constant studying and training, the increase in magical power didn't come. She became better yes, but only because she perfected each movement and spell, so that she could cast it even with little power. But still many spells would still be closed to her.

But these difficulties couldn't put her off her path. No matter what the others said she would become a great archmage even if she could never cast properly. So, she did everything she could think of, finding the institute in the process. Niobium brought her in seeing her as a skilled mage with great knowledge, dedication and a hand for organization. After the previous archmage Argentum left she became the new one, much to the chargin of her fellow mages who consider her unworthy.

Not that they would dare challenge her now, as over time Germanium has gained much power through artifacts and rituals, that coupled with her excellent knowledge of theory and spellcasting, make her a difficult enemy.
