Smoke and flames in a dragon's hide

Arun came to this clan as a hatchling and was welcomed happily. As a child, his bright red faceted eyes stunned everyone but they weren't the focus when he became a fully grown dragon and took on the mantel of the forger. This title entailed a huge transformation so he could become the forge himself; an alive fire could be kept in his belly without harm. Now he runs the clan's Forgery, creating weapons and other decorative metal pieces.

The Ancient Fungus is Arun's familiar, brought with him when he came to the clan and now lives inside the Forgery with him. Taken uproot in a dark corner within a sightline of the whole place, keeping a watchful eye over his owner. To start with other dragons mistook the Ancient Fungus for food and Arun had to fend them off. Now that he has been in the clan long enough, the fungus familiar is part of the daily life of those who visit the Forgery. They will usually leave an offering of rotting plant life to appease the familiar, hoping in return Arun would be more favourable towards them and their requests.
