Notes for self:

- Lacerta and Alnilam are in a constant push-and-pull. They serve to balance out the volatile wild magics by keeping them in constant motion, thus preventing their entropic decay. Essentially they siphon it back and forth between them like if you pumped water up a tube then turned the pump off - Lacerta forces the magics one way, and Alnilam is the resevoir for when they flow back down. Because of them, the nature of wild magic is dependent on which part of the cycle they're in. If they're in lacerta's cycle, the magics are stronger but more volatile, and in Alnilam they are harder to access but easier to control once you do (as the 'with-gravity' flow is gentler than the 'against-gravity')
