Mawet
↠ Reaper

"They say justice is blind. Impartial, fair, never favoring the strong nor the weak. The peaceful nor the wicked. Everyone, everything must face judgement."
FCGpVbU.png

Reapers. It's their job and they're inflexible. Nothing and nobody can persuade or corrupt them.
It's almost impossible to comunicate with them since they appear when they have a job..so..how did they end in a lair like that? Where all the races met, all with their stories, their secret, they're past.

Reapers. Silently gliding past you, not even a cold glance to spare in your direction. Never talking; never a whisper nor a roar. Appearing and disappearing. The glacial hands of frozen spirits reach out from their dark clothing, twisting, reaching, grabbing for any handhold. But they are forever in the possession of the Reapers. They will never, ever escape. Seemingly distant; but always watching. Never underestimate them, for they react as fast as lightning and can think at mind-splitting speeds. The power seems to seep from them, cold and dark, pooling and dripping almost as if it is a physical thing. The potential is there to conquer the whole of Sornieth.
But they wait. They do not fight, for it is not their role to interfere with living creatures. They seem as if they are not a dragon. Rather, a beast, a creature, bent upon one and only task: the harvesting of souls.

Reapers. Whenever one sweeps past you, the Multitude of deceased seems to gather in your mind, whispering a thousand words every second, a jumble of tones and indecipherable nonsense that instantly causes your head to throb with pain. The Multitude has long since lost their ability to speak individually and intelligently; their only wish is to be free. To be free from this Reaper who stole them from their graves, their sanctuaries, the throes of their death. They wish to be at peace. But the Reaper, demeanor cold as ice, seems deaf to their screams and their pleas. Bound in chains of ice and shadow, they shall never escape.

Reapers. They do not even seem to speak to you unless they are seeing something else within their mind; something they wish to share with you for no reason besides they want to. Lines of verse, or simply the speak of normal dragons; sometimes simple, and sometimes impossible to understand. Or perhaps there is something darker, deeper, larger in the calculations of these creatures. Perhaps they shape the future and bend the past. They are ageless, wise beyond belief but mute to the pleas of the Multitude and of their clans. They show up seemingly at random, only to disappear again a short time later. Not revealing, not speaking when they have finished. The only thing you can tell from them is their power. Immense power.

Mawet is especially cold. The Multitude in his possession is one of the largest of the known existing Reapers. If he ever deems you worthy enough to speak to you, his voice is cold and empty, sending shivers down your spine. Mawet is never seen with another Reaper excluding his partner, Dullahan. His tattered robes seem to emanate cold, and if you look closely, you can make out the ghostly blue form of icy hands reaching out from the depths of his cloak. Mawet's skin is black and strangely segmented, almost like the wings of an insect, and his scales shine dully. At the same time, his skin seems almost... transparent. The ghastly outline of his skull lifts up ridges around his skin brutally, the milky, malicious eye peering from beneath. His eye are pure white, no pupils or irises. Just... white.
Like his soul was bleached from his body.
