Hallows

hallows runs a bakery of sorts in a large tent across from inara's tea shop. she is quite devious about experimentation in her recipes, which is definitely why her customers are almost always wary, but also likely a huge reason why her shop is such a hit. almost all of her dishes could be advertised using the adjective "surprise," and the many of the surprises originate from items not conventionally considered as foods. she always tests new recipes out on herself or on the voluntary harvest before serving to others, however.

her shop's dishes change with the seasons; there's always a spiced treat to warm you up on chilly evenings, and an iced plate to help you beat the heat; her insects always the juiciest, raw meats always the freshest, and seafoods full of flavor, but her specialties are found in her treats derived from herbs and vegetables, especially pumpkins.

though she never intended to stay a guardian her entire life, she stays loyal to the calling of her charge, whom she believes in her heart to be harvest, the innocuous fae-turned-coatl. the two have developed their own non-verbal means of communication, and as such hallow often serves to translate between harvest and other dragons coatl in times of need.
