Biography

────- Babettet
58 years old | Female | Demisexual | Wingless exotic pet
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
"Don't let others see your weakness
Always stand clear and strong."
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

In a city where imperials were being sold as slaves, Babette was a very specific case. She was what they called a "dwarf Imperial" - An imperial who was way smaller than what she was supposed to be. It was seen as "cute" by the noble buyers of the city, so she was auctioned rather quickly.

Even though she was fully "taken care of", Babette was quite aware of her situation. She was a slave, and by the eyes of the nobles, a "exotic pet" of some sort. The owners even made sure she wouldn't run away by cutting her wings off, making her incapable of flying. When the first child of the noble couple came to life, Babette was put in charge of the child.

Without her noticing it, Babette created a very maternal instinct towards the child and got very attached to the boy, a shy but polite young man. Then the second child came, and the same happened; Babette was put in charge of the youngsters.

She had extensive knowledge of proper manners and literature, so she became a teacher for the children. However, they grew quite competitive with each other, thus making one of them feel a bit inferior to the older brother. He felt like Babette was bias towards him, and wanted her gone.

And so he did it.

The day Babette was separated from her children was the day she couldn't control herself in cries of dispair, wanting to go back to the noble's house. She grew so attached to the little ones, even though she was a very demanding mother, she was loving.

After some time, Babette was quickly picked out of the streets by another imperial, this time a noble one, Scorpio. She had a chance to start her new life as a free being, but she couldn't help but feel sorrow for those children she created on her own.

Quote:
Babette has a picture of her children on her at all times. She doesn't look at when she's not alone because the pain she feels for her lost children is something she doesn't share with anyone who isn't extremely close to her. Ever since losing her sons she's had trouble trusting others to get close to her because she never want to feel the same sorrow of losing someone dear to her.
