Personality: Quiet, odd, very curious. Since she is blind from her front eyes and can only see through the eyes on her body, she is often seen wrapping her whole body around things she finds interesting to see them from all angles. It can be very intimidating for a dragon to be the target of such scrutiny, but she honestly doesn't mean any harm and is usually very peaceful. It would be easier for her to see in this way if she was a flexible Spiral, but she is content with her body and doesn't want to change. Soft voice. Rarely speaks but likes asking questions.
Naira knew, from the moment she was born, that she was weird. Obviously, she looks weird, with the eyes running down the lengh of her whole body, but it's not just that. There are other dragons with lots of eyes, and it's a good advantage for things like hunting. It also makes you pretty much impossible to sneak up on. But she is pretty sure even other multi-eyed dragons aren't as weird as she is. She hasn't heard of many dragons whose body is... shifting. Sometimes she wakes up with a few more spines than usual, or less spines than she should. Sometimes there are new eyes on her body. Sometimes some of her eyes close and don't open again. Sometimes she sees things other dragons can't. Sometimes she has so many teeth her jaw aches. Sometimes there are tentacles instead of her arms and/or feet. Thats is definitely not normal. She doesn't really care about it. It's the looks she gets from other dragons that bother her. The whispers of "Shade-touched egg", or "cursed dragon". So what if she is Shade-touched or cursed? She hasn't hurt anyone and she doesn't intend to. As she grew older, so did her fear of someone hurting her for her difference. She had to hide. What better place than the Tangled Woods? That's how she found the Chiroptera Cult. There, she felt safe. She felt normal. Everyone is normal in a place where everyone is weird. No one cares if her body is a bit different each day, where there are literal demons and Gods hanging around. She has never felt so accepted in her life, and she knows in her heart that she has found her place. Playlist: |
