Resentment
— Who Says You Can't Die Twice —
Unlike her brother, Rancor, Resentment had little patience for dealing with confused, lost spirits and decided to take a more active approach instead. She travels around to purge any spirits that cause harm either to other spirits or to the living. By doing so, she helps plot safe paths that Rancor can take later when he's guiding the lost. Resentment makes it a point to let others know what she does too. As a result, she is frequently called in to help deal with hauntings. While she doesn't do this for free, she keeps her price reasonable, usually requesting food or provisions over money.

• Resentment uses enchanted weapons to destroy dangerous spirits. She also has plenty of charms and talismans for backup.
• She leaves signs, like markings on trees, for Rancor to let him know which way to go.
• Occasionally, Resentment will clean up roads from thieves and bandits.
• Resentment frequently attracts dangerous spirits on her own accord thanks to her aggressive personality. The spirits are drawn to her tumultuous energy.
• She hates the cold and it's only reluctantly that she'll go deal with spirits in cold places.
• Once, Resentment was possessed by a particularly powerful spirit. She now keeps a hidden charm on her person to prevent that from happening again.
• Resentment frequently joins up with traveling clans, merchants or other rovers. It passes the time quicker to be in company.
