(was abandoned at birth by her seeker parents because they were horrified at her being born without the warden's blessing aka born with shadow element even though shadow shares a similar sort of bury the past philosphy to ice shade prisons and were particularly ehhh about that sort of thing, eventually she tried to get back to the snow lands to find them where she now wanders in search of her true parents. may have been abandoned in the wispwillow grove in the hopes she would die to the mythical veil monsters and bury their shame but was taken in sort of fae changeling child-style by the veilspun once she was abandoned in their land instead, when she went to the icefield they came along and they hide in her hair to preserve their body warmth) a child left in the woods they say may never be quite the same

mohurac's name stands out clearly against the typically nordic-inspired names of most gaolers. gaolers are a fiercely traditional and dogmatic culture, and though they have come to inhabit all of sornieth openly and in great numbers once again, they still haven't been back on the scene long enough for these deeply-engrained naming traditions to see much significant widespread mutation. thus mohurac's name is a result of unusual circumstances, namely abandonment and being found by another very confused elder race who probably were under the impression the gaolers were all gone for good with the last sighting of them having been likely many generations ago.
