The sole survivor of the tragedy that took not only his parents but the court that was supposed to be his, DyingLight stumbled into the Forge seeking sanctuary and bringing the terrible news of what had happened to bring him to the surface. There was little sympathy to spare, though, life moved on in the Forum and the Forge needed more than just honeyed words and friendly gazes.
He hurled himself into his studies, searching for ways and means to reverse this god-given curse to his family, but his anguished cries went entirely unheard even when the height of his magic caused parts of his body to melt away into putrid green flames.
He wouldn't stop until he found out how to bring everyone back. For now, he burnt, a beacon of both hope and despair for those who had once been a part of his legacy and those who continued to seek it.
