Biography

Backstory: North may have been the seventh in line for the VeroKitty Clan’s throne, but he sure didn’t act like it. The tundra dragon was convinced that he was somehow entitled to a lavish and glorious life because he was the child of the two leaders of the VeroKitty Clan. Of course, North was aware of the fact he could never find that life in the VeroKitty Clan. His parents, Frost and Frog may have technically been the king and queen of the VeroKitty Clan, but they lived boringly humble lives. Their sleeping quarters were the same size as any other member of the VeroKitty Clan. They ate the same food and wore the same clothes as commoners. North wasn’t going to be like that though, he was going to a real king one day...Or at least that was the plan. When North reached adolescence, North decided he was going to travel across Sornieth and make his own clan that he alone could rule. Although in order to travel the world, North would need lots of treasure and gems so he went to ask his parents for money. Now, Frog and Frost knew that their son would likely waste most of their treasure and gems on expensive things and return to the VeroKitty Clan empty handed so they decided to make their son work for their cash. Frog and Frost told their son that if he wanted treasure and gems then he was going to have to do volunteer work in the Aquafire Clan. Volunteering was the last thing on earth North wanted to, but he really needed money so he reluctantly chose to volunteer at the Aquafire Clan. North, his parents and some other volunteers flew to the Aquafire Clan, which had just begun building a new lair in the Fishspine Reef. Frog and Frost wanted to personally offer their condolences to Nira and Leon for all of the lives the Aquafire Clan had lost during the Battle of the Blackwave and assure the two leaders of the Aquafire Clan that the VeroKitty Clan stood behind them. North eyed the rulers of the Aquafire Clan with curiosity as they spoke with his parents. Nira and Leon were the king and queen of the Aquafire Clan and North knew they had picked their daughter, Rosette, to rule after them. North was awell aware of the fact that Leon and Nira sat on thrones and wore crowns like actual kings and queens. “Hey, North is that you?” A dragon standing behind North asked. North spun around and saw Rosette, the Aquafire Clan’s crown princess. “Rosette?!” North gasped just before the female tundra pulled North into a tight embrace. North got a whiff of Rosette’s fur. It still smelled of roses, just like it used to when he was a hatchling.
“I can’t believe it! You are almost as tall as me now, North!” Rosette exclaimed. North pulled away from Rosette hug and blinked as the female tundra dragon. It felt weird to see her again even though he knew he would probably run into her during his stay at the Aquafire Clan. The last time Rosette and North had talked had been years ago. Rosette and other warriors from the Aquafire Clan had come to the VeroKitty Clan after a fugitive, claiming to be a dragon named Winterstar, had attacked the VeroKitty Clan. North had been a hatchling when this event had occurred. He, along with many other hatchlings in the VeroKitty Clan, had been terrified. Rosette had looked him and the other hatchlings that felt unsafe and gave them extra assurance that everything was going to be okay. “Everything okay?” Rosette asked after a long pause of silence. North shook his head. “Oh, it’s nothing.” He replied. Rosette grinned at him and said, “I hear you’ve come the Aquafire Clan to help us rebuild. Allow me to show you the volunteers unofficial headquarters.” Rosette grabbed North by the paw and lead him to a small tent with alabaster sheets. Along the way, the two tundras passed by some volunteers stacking bricks in the heat of the midday sun. North swallowed hard. That sure looks like a lot of work, North thought to himself. Fortunately, Rosette pulled North along before he decided to come up with a good excuse to leave. Although, North wanted leave much more when he saw the unofficial volunteer headquarters (which was really a large white tent holding all of the supplies). Familiars and dragons running around everywhere and occasionally shouting to each other. To North, the volunteer headquarters looked like a zoo without fences to keep the animals in one area and the tourists in the other. Rosette didn’t seemed to appalled by the chaos though. She actually looked proud of her Clan members. The female tundra navigated through the disorderly mess with ease and brought North to Umira (the dragon who was apparently in charge of the volunteers and very very scary). Umira assigned North to work in a group with Asia, Orion and Zecro. Right after North had been assigned a task, Rosette hugged North once more and promised she would visit him again later. Then, she left him. North watched her walk away. She was much more beautiful than he remembered and she held herself with such poise. Rosette was a true royalty unlike North. Suddenly, a lightbulb flashed in North’s head. What if he tried to win Rosette’s heart? She was a crown princess so she easily make him an actual crown prince! And the tundra was being honest he could easily fall in love with Rosette... “Hey, pal, why don’t ya take a picture. It will last longer,” A different female tundra said to North. North blinked. He had been so lost in his thoughts that he hadn’t noticed this other tundra step in front of him. “Who are you?” North questioned, dumbfoundedly. “Asia. A member of your volunteer group whether you like it or not.” She stated, with a smirk. Zecro approached North from behind and said, “Don’t worry, your highness, she’s actually not as bad this stick in the mud.” Zecro gestured to the imperial standing to him. North turned to Zecro and grinned at the mirror dragon. Since both Zecro and North had been born the same clan, they went way back and had always been close. “You do realize Umira will stick us all in the mud if she sees we that aren’t working, right?” The imperial added and then, cast a worried glance back at the tent. “Don’t worry Oreo Cookie, we will start heading back soon,” Asia assured the imperial dragon. “My name is Orion,” the imperial grumbled as the volunteer group migrated back to their workplace. To North’s surprise, his group wasn’t actually stacking bricks like other volunteers. His group was collecting seashells. North was too relieved to hear that he would be doing easy work to question why volunteer would be wasting their time collecting seashells...at least that was how North felt until he learned of the dangers of collecting seashells on an island in the Fishspine Reef. The shells on the shoreline were huge and often weighed twenty pounds at the bare minimum. Not all of the shells were empty either. A third of all of the shells North and his volunteer team picked up contained angry, territorial crabs. North almost got his head snapped off by one crab. Collecting seashells had been one of the most terrifying things North had ever done. By time he and his team had finished collecting shells, North had a few bleeding wounds and a lot of missing fur. NeoJr, Zecro, Asia and Orion, however, seemed completely unfazed by their encounter with the giant hermit crabs. After the volunteer work was done, North had to sent up a tent to sleep. A tent! He might as well deny his birth line! North struggled to put that cheaply stitched tent together for hours on end until Asia stepped in to help him.
After that day, North’s life fell into a constant routine. He’d spend the mornings collecting seashells and fighting off hermit crabs with his volunteer grew. Then, he would haul the shells back to the Aquafire Clan. Finally, North and all the other volunteers would end their day with a banquet and go to sleep in their tents. During the first three weeks, North hated the long, rhythmic days in the Aquafire Clan and counted down the days until he would leave. Or at least that was until Rosette met up with North just after dinner. Rosette had wanted to show North what the Aquafire Clan was starting to build underwater, but North declined her offer because he couldn’t swim. “You can’t swim?!” Rosette asked North with disbelief. “Well, when you are surrounded by miles of woods you don’t think about it to much,” North admitted. “Know I could I can teach you,” Rosette offered, “If you’d like that is.” And suddenly, the days were rushing by. North practiced swimming with Rosette, daily and his crush on the crown princess only grew. His volunteer team began to notice that North seemed uncharacteristically happy lately. Asia was the first to guess North had developed a crush on another dragon. Pretty soon, the end of North’s volunteer work was only a few weeks away from being complete. The Aquafire Clan’s lair was also expected to be complete within a few weeks so Leon and Nira planned to hold a ball to celebrate the completion of their den. Although, when the ball was only three weeks away, North finally told his volunteer crew that he planned to ask out his crush to the ball and he really needed some advice. Once North’s team learned that he was going to ask his crush (they had demanded North tell them who he had a crush on, but North only told them that they’d all find out to the ball) out on a date, they jumped at the chance to make sure North’s date was perfect. NeoJr and Orion pooled their money to buy a tuxedo for a North that was both dashing and festive. North practiced popping the question with Asia and Zecro. He also asked them for advice (since Asia was technically a girl and Zecro had a mate). North was touched by how his crew was so willing to help him out. When ball was only one week away, North realized two things: he couldn’t bare to leave his volunteer group and he had fallen in love with the wrong dragon. He was sup post to fall in love with Rosette, but he had fallen in love with Asia instead. North didn’t ask Rosette out like he had planned. When North entered the ball room, he looked for Asia and surprised everyone when asked Asia if he could dance with her. The two danced the night away. When morning came and Frost and Frog returned to take their son back to the VeroKitty Clan. North told his parents that he wasn’t going to return home and he didn’t want to be paid for volunteering. He had found his true purpose in the Aquafire Clan.

Personality: North is a very classy type. The tundra is also very flirtatious and has a tendency to act like a spoiled noble. He cares a lot about latest fashions and maintaining his soft fur with the newest hair products. Although when push come to shove, North is a loyal friend and a great leader. The tundra is well known for being a great charismatic speaker too.

Clan Position: Charity Organizer/Ambassador of the VeroKitty Clan

Soul Mate: Asia

Familiar: Somar was a devout worshipper of Hifingashi, the god of the longnecks. He had leave home to preach to other about the good works of Hifingashi to the longnecks in the Shifting Expanse. Although in order to get to Shifting Expansive, Somar had to cross the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Somar’s ship docked in the Aquafire Clan’s ports during the voyage. Somar had heard tales about the Aquafire Clan’s good deeds and he wanted to see for himself if they were true so the longneck wandered along the Aquafire Clan’s shoreline. Somar’s ship had arrived at dusk so the stars were already painted across the sky. Somar saw the constellation of Hifingashi sparkingly in the sky. All of Somar’s life, the constellation had pointed to Shifting Expanse. Somar’s eye followed the dotted line that made up Hifingashi’s finger and suddenly, the longneck noticed that tonight the constellation was pointing a large bolder on the sandy beach. And top of that boulder there sat a tundra dragon. Somar—believing that Hifingashi himself had instructed him—rushed to the tundra and asked him what his name was. “I’m North. Although, I am sure you have heard of me,” the tundra replied smoothly. Somar instantly began kissing North’s talons. “Hifingashi! I knew you would come to us one day in physical form!” The longneck cried. For eons, the longneck’s had believed that Hifingashi sent them strength on the Northern winds and they had always believed that Hifingashi would one day take a physical form and walk among their beastclan. Somar was so convinced that North was his god, Hifingashi that he swore he would serve North to the end of his days. Now, North knew wasn’t some ancient longneck but...he had always wanted a man servant so he decided to just roll with it. For an entire month, North got out off his chores thanks to Somar. However, once Asia found out that North was taking advantage of the longneck, she forced asked North to tell Somar the truth about his origins. North expected that Somar would leave once he knew the cold truth. Somar didn’t, however. In fact the longneck continued to serve him. North actually got frustrated with Somar and told the longneck that a selfish dragon like him didn’t deserve the Longneck’s loyalty. In response to North’s frustration, the longneck put a hand on the tundra’s shoulder and explained that even though North wasn’t Hifingashi, Somar had been lead by Hifingashi to North. Somar admitted that he had to grown to love life in the Aquafire Clan and couldn’t bare to leave. From that day forth, North and Somar began working together to organize charity events and volunteer efforts. Although, Somar often fills the role of butler, secretary and bodyguard for North, the strong friendship between the tundra and the longneck is what keeps them together. Somar is secretly the boyfriend of Othello’s familiar, Grelle Sutcliff.
