The Warrior

“더는 용서하지 않겠다”

The most animalistic child of Charizard's brood. It is a wonder how she ended up with such a cutthroat personality between her parents, but she is true to the wild. Fauve is a natural born hunter who considers her appendages to be weapons. Even as a young child, she has hunted and killed many small animals and feasted on them. Charizard has said she needs to reach maturity before she enters the coliseum, but every day that passes, her yearning to enter the arena and fight for her life and her clan grows.

Demeter herself finds her child to be mildly frightening, and hopes for her safety day to day. Charizard tells her he'd rather spare sympathy against those who would fight his little girl. He knows she is going to grow up to be a strong force to reckon with. Lastly, Fauve said if she had to choose her favorite food, it'd be lemmings. They are quite filling.

Since making her way into the world on her own, she joined the Thorned Clan and took up training under Fier, the former Spirit of Earth. Though her ruthless strength grew with her power as the former Spirit of Vengeance, Fier taught her the best places in Sornieth to unleash her killer instinct and recklessness, and she was happy to live to fight. When Fier chose to remain in the first dimension, she was tempted to stay as well, but he reminded her that her father would hate to see her languish and waste away. If she went with him, all the work and training would go to waste. So she left, and forged her own path from the clan’s new home to the anchor realm. The constant hunger for elimination was gone, but she knew her strength, and to this day she strives to fight and destroy the strongest enemies she can find.

Of two like minds, Thornmail and Fauve make a terrifying team together, terrorizing all who dare challenge them. Arietna often prays that Thornmail’s unfortunate tendency to boost Fauve’s thirst for blood won’t result in another war, but to her credit, Fauve seems to reserve her full power paired with Thornmail for trips to Sornieth.

Fauve’s favorite food. She enjoys a good challenge, and any prey that can fight back makes the hunt all the more worthwhile. Especially when said prey is so succulent and filling.

Shocking as it is that Fauve has a mate, given her aggressive disposition and more feral tendencies, Eleison enjoys her company and often looks forward to simply existing with her. As the logical foil to Fauve’s bloodthirsty instinct, he works as the cooling rain to her burning sun to nurture the prosperity of the clan.

The Blacksmith often accompanies the Warrior on her journeys to the anchor world. Although his reasoning differs significantly from her, he finds it cathartic to let out his aggression in the company of someone who won’t judge him for his lack of faith in Arietna’s vision. She takes pleasure in fighting alongside a fellow brutal fighter, and he gets so immersed in the thrill of battle that he can forget the lost loves of his life and the betrayals from which he still suffers.
