B I O G R A P H Y

As a young hatchling Crescent was chosen to become the personal guard of the Oracle. He was taken away from his family to be trained in physical and magical combat. When he first laid eyes on the naive young Fae, that never saw the outside world, all he felt was pity. But soon he came to cherish her attentive and curious nature, always bringing her new books to read and new stories to listen to. The first time he actually saw her have a vision frightened him immensely. Her eyes unfocused and took a soft glow to them, her body cramped up and she spoke with a voice that sounded foreign and wrong to him. He silently vowed to always protect her from whatever destiny may throw at them.

One day he overheard the head of the clan talk to a stranger. They were haggling over the price of something and the sum of treasure was enormous, so Crescent decided to hide and spy on them, maybe he'd have another story to tell Yuvee after this! He froze when her name was mentioned. He couldn't have heard that right, it had to be a mistake. Their leader was selling Yuvee? His Yuvee? He panicked and rushed back into her hut. No matter how much he begged, Yuvee would not agree to run away with him, the fear in her eyes obvious. Desperate for a way out of the situation he grabbed his rusty old sword and vanished between the trees.

B I O G R A P H Y

Crescent lay in wait for three days until the small group of dragons crossed his path. Two big and burly Ridgeback guard escorting a small purple Fae. He jumped out of his hiding spot and used the momentum he had to strike down the two guards. Not thinking about consequences he grabbed Yuvees hand and fled into the woods. Together they hid from the guards and villagers, still out searching for them long after the sun set, when a heavily armed Nocturne stumbled upon them. Crescent instinctively threw himself in front of Yuvee to protect her, but he was too tired to actually fight the big dragon. The Nocturne just looked at them and then sheepishly explained that he meant no harm and is only on the look out for dangers. Seeing the shape the two of them were in he offered to bring them back to his home, the Starry Nights Fair.

The fairgrounds were an excellent hiding point from the people out looking for them. Between all the visitors the two small Fae could vanish whenever they spotted danger. Yuvee went back to what she did best, working as an Oracle. Only this time she was not confined to a dark room and could leave whenever she wanted. Crescent still sees his duty in protecting her, so he stays by her side, keeping unwanted attention away from her and acting as her bodyguard.

Though he had loved her for a long time, his feelings only grew stronger with each passing day. And after a hard day of work he finally gathers his courage and asks her out. And to his utter delight she accepted and soon the two of them moved their nest to the Midnight Circus to raise a family of their own.
