B I O G R A P H Y

Yuvee was born as a hatchling between a water and an arcane dragon, inheriting strong magic that manifested itself in the form of visions. In her clan she was revered as an Oracle, being kept behind closed doors out of fear her gift may be tainted by the common folk. Her only friend was her guard Crescent. They spent every minute together and he was the only one that made her happy.

Yuvee was too scared to go with him, never having spent time in the outside world and only experiencing it in her visions. The next day the head of the clan came to her and suddenly Crescents panic made perfect sense. The man she trusted most her life, who cared for her as if she were his own daughter, has sold her off to another clan. She cried and begged him to let her stay, but the old dragon stayed adamant. Crescent didn't come that day. For the first time in her life she was truly alone. To make things worse, she was shaken by visions of blinding lights and laughter the whole day. Promises of a world she may never see.

B I O G R A P H Y

On the day of her transfer, she tried to flee but the dragons that escorted her caught her easily, she was not made to fight and run and all those years in the locked room made her weak. She was just about to accept her fate as Crescent jumped out of the bushes and struck the guards down one after another, fighting fiercely with the rusted blade the clan had entrusted him with. He took her hand and together they fled deep into the woods. While they hid from the villagers and guards they were found by a heavily armed Nocturne, who scared Yuvee senseless. Crescent threw himself in front of her but was too tired from fighting and running to hold the giant dragon back. But the big dragon never tried to fight. He looked apologetically at them and explained he was just scouting the parameters in case of danger. Seeing the two small Fae battered and scared he offered to bring them back to his home, the Starry Nights Fair.

There Yuvee finally found a place for herself. She took the place at Oracle again, knowing she could choose to go whenever she pleases but decided to stay and use her gift to help those who needed guidance. All the time Crescent dutifully stayed at her side. After a while Yuvee even befriended a young Fae, who possessed a gift similar to her own and she devoted her time in teaching the young one how to steer the visions in certain directions to see what she wants to know about. With Galene and Crescent by her side she slowly came out of her shell.

B I O G R A P H Y

After living together for most of their life, it was at the fair that Yuvee first noticed how her heart raced every time Crescent was near. Or how her thoughts circled around him when she lay awake at night. When one day after a hard day of work, he stopped and stammered out a confession she knew the two of them were meant to be.
