Briar was very insistent to join the Rosebud Clan, arguably to a fault. The others – including the clan matriarch – still haven't a clue how she ended up here or what she wished to attain from living with a bunch of ragtag misfits. But she was stubborn, and ... oddly charismatic, with her clear booming voice, her head held high, and her self-assured way of speaking. She could very well talk her way into an exclusive club of Pearlcatchers if she so desired. This has made her a valuable asset, as her clanmates aren't always the most articulate speakers.

While she prides herself on monologuing, her bite is no weaker than her bark. She's gone head-to-head with Snappers, stood her ground against hoards of Mirrors, and fell Imperials many times her size. Her physical strength cannot be understated, nor can her killer scratch. Her claws are her deadliest weapon; they're seemingly unbreakable, and sharp enough to tear down trees in two strikes. Even at rest, she can be found sharpening her claws against a chunk of whetstone. She's prepared for a fight at a moment's notice, though she sometimes goes looking for a fight when she shouldn't.

Of all the elemental ambassadors in the clan, Briar prides herself most on her duty as the representative of Plague. She can and has often argued Nature dragons into a corner. Her passion is for the good her kind and her homeland can offer. How disease can be cleansing to the environment, just like the unforgivable cold of winter wipes the lands clean to start anew. Even so, she isn't blind to the harm that Plague has brought; she will personally apologize to the affected and set to do right by the ones the Plague has done wrong.
