Tick.The world existed as shades of grey, the fog swirled creating areas of dark and light. Sound was strange within the swirling gradients of light, some sounds were muffled, barely on the edge of what was audible, while other sounds were amplified, the crunch of leaves, the snap of a twig ringing out like the shock of a hammer on anvil; startling in the relative silence. It was sensory deprivation, the fog. He didn't mind though. Really he didn't see the world the way others did. It made his job easier. He would snap a branch here. Russle a bush there. They would run away and he would return to his patrol, keeping the Living away from the Veil. Keeper of the Edge Helps souls cross over? Prevents the Living from entering the Underneath/Below/Underworld/Afterlife/ Crossing the Veil/Mists/Dreampaths. Comes across as unstable and cruel, really just doesn't want anyone else to get hurt, Kinda hates everyone though for being stupid. Has an excellent resting bitchface. Actually really enjoys playing the bad guy/devil's, advocate, at least it keeps the hatchlings away from the Hollow. Is synesthetic: hears colors and tastes auras. Is also colorblind, sight is mostly motion dependent, with infrared pits to supplement, most dragons think he is blind though because he usually keeps his eyes closed. |
