Ananassa

Known collectively in the lair as 'The Ice Queen'.
Being not overly emotional, it is hard for some of the other dragons to get close to her. The ones that do manage to win her affections find she is a loyal and steadfast friend, though her particular sense of dry humor takes some mental adjustment. She excels at strategic planning and spends her days as a consultant for other somewhat dimmer dragons, helping to organize lair expansions and collecting data for flight spreadsheets.
There was a concern for a while about her raising hatchlings considering her emotional distance, but in the end Lanatus provides enough emotional support for the both of them (sometimes too much the hatchlings claim). They all come to understand her peculiarities and deeply respect the utmost fairness with which she raised them. Though she almost never initiates contact, she has never missed a birthday or failed to be there when they needed even the smallest bit of help. To them at least it is clear that she shows love through actions rather than words.
