Born to dragons of Fire and Nature, Kliklii was brought repeatedly to her parents’ homelands as a child. She found the contrast - yet similarities - the two lands bore fascinating: one’s sky was filled with smoke and ashes, the others with foliage and greenery. One offered scorching, bubbling lava rivers, the other ravenous danger lurking within the shadows. It was a conundrum, in a way. For her parents never could agree whose flight was best and, while the countless arguments were nothing but light-hearted banter; Kliklii wondered who was right. Her confusion only deepened later, when Plague’s rivalry with Nature was added to her knowledge. Both had their own, unique point of view on life and how it should be lived. But which way was the best one? Maybe it was the Light magic flowing through her veins or simply childish curiosity, but Kliklii never let the questions die. She had to know, so she traveled between the lands, visited libraries of vast collection, interviewed the ancients who still graced this land. All she learned was lies: half-truths, white ones, or big fat ones, they all lead her astray and muddied the water so she could not read the truth written within its depth. And the more she looked, the less she actually found. The battle of Windstar Bay, The Melting Escape, the Beastclan Betrayal, even information about the Shade was incorrect and changed. So many inconsistencies, so much confusion. All because someone along the way wanted their truth - their lies - to be real, to be fact. With bitter regret, she realized some things would always remain hidden from the light, always shrouded in uncertainty and fiction. So she contented herself to authenticating and correcting what she could, to becoming a philologist. Kliklii is cynical and doubtful, always questioning the information she's received. She's read many a book, and is quite knowledgeable. Perhaps a tad obsessive, Kliklii has an indomitable thirst for truth. Because of all the lies she's encountered in her journey, Kliklii absolutely despises them and bears animosity towards a liar long after the point where most forgive. With her single-minded focus on her work, Kliklii isn't the most caring dragon and can seem rather self-centered. Always formal, she treats others with a curt professionalism. She can seem taciturn and distant, but in truth she finds small-talk a bore. Relationships are awkward for her: casual touches confuse her, flirting goes over her head, and emotional attachment frightens her. Even her parents are kept a wing span away. The clinical, analytical mindset she’s developed over the years proves fruitless when used on relationships. One day she found a poetry book among the history sections. Intrigued, she read it and found a new hobby. Poetry is the one place she allows herself some leeway, some imperfections. Grammar will go out the window when she writes her own poems, ignored in favor of cadence and rhyme. Kliklii has little clue what she's doing, but she enjoys those hidden moments to herself. Over the years, Kliklii has developed the ability to detect spoken lies. While fallible and situational, it's proven invaluable to her. However, as it stems from a Skydancer’s ability to sense emotion, she often can't get a read on a dragon who's prepared or has little sense of morals.
