- - - A larger institution especially in a more isolated location will soon find it important to find a place to rest the dead both their own and their enemies. A necropolis can be easily made but funeral rites of different cultures and breeds might need special attention for such things.

Francium is a strange dragon and was brought by an allied shadow clan for the expressed purpose of observing the funeral rites of the present shadow dragons. This confused the clan at first, as most funerals during this time were conducted by the close flight members themselves and they themselves had little knowledge of such rites. But they heard that many dragons, especially those that considered themselves faithful often wished observe special traditions and be assured that their remains remain save.

Francium has thus been serving the clan for decades now, working together with the other elemental flights to organize and conduct burials, and making sure that all necessities are present for such occasions. Additionally she tends to the graves and urns, preventing both beasts and other dragons from despoiling the dead.

For the guardian this is her sacred charge and a duty she considers bigger than her own life. This dedication is marked on her very scales by the skeletal markings on her body, telling all of her work.
