Phylliroe was rescued as an egg from the Sea of a Thousand Currents, in the chaos after the storm that led to the disappearance of the Tidelord. Hatchlings and eggs were being abandoned, clans breaking apart, terror in the unforeseeable future. While on assignment for the Drake's Herald, Marlowe found her egg and raised it as his own, introducing her to the seas outside the Sea of A Thousand Currents. He named her Phylliroe, after the beautiful blue "sea dragon" nudibranch.
