The eldest first son of a military Commandant and a near-flighty socialite, much was expected of this young man as he grew in stature and in strength. Alderic took to his role as naturally as a fish swims, excelling in the art of war and strategy, showing signs of great leadership skills from an early age, and yet learned the art of conversation from his mother as well. Though he looks and had aptitudes after his father, Alderic's attitude and personality lean towards his mother, as he is a friendly sort prone to chatting and is very approachable despite his size.

His father, his brothers, are all dead now. Word came back in the shortest of forms, that they had been downsized, then slaughtered. He still remembers Morric's big, awkward way of moving, his father's intense battle stories, Keddrick's jokes, and misses them all. He wants them back, and will do anything to do so. Alderic is more silent now--his mates have left, his children exalted. Every time the big Guardian reaches out, life comes crashing back in to injure or destroy. The only thing Alderic wants, really, is to be loved the way he loved everything, before the Lightweaver split him from his family and the Stormcatcher discarded what was left.
