Personality: An enigmatic dragon if ever there was one, Piotr never say exactly what he means, prefering to speak in riddles and parables. Incredibly persuasive and charismatic, he could talk you into believing the sky was green if he was so minded. The most insidious aspect of his nature is that he never lies- not quite. However, he is quite good at manipulating the truth in such a way that his manipulations can’t quite be refuted outright. History: Piotr is one of the most prolific propagandists in the ranks of Meltaim’s followers. While not necessarily the most powerful warrior, his strengths lay in using his blood magic for spying, stealth, misdirection, and glamour. He watches from the shadows and learns everything he can about a target, then uses their weaknesses and insecurities to sway them into his thrall. Izydor, his direct superior, brought him along on the trip to retrieve Zuzanna for explicitly this reason, hoping to use Piotr’s guile to convince Zuzanna to come home to him… and to weaken the resolve of anyone who might be sheltering her. At various points since the blood mages started skulking around Clan Brayuh’s territory, Piotr has confronted those he met out in the territorial outskirts. Though he never associates with the cultists directly- leading many in the clan to question if he’s on their side or a different enemy entirely- his machinations invariably weaken someone who would otherwise be paramount in fending off some plot or another by Meltaim. He has in the past driven Angelo, Ezra, Vittoria and Holly into nervous breakdowns by playing to their psychological weaknesses, managed to keep both Mirja and Aubrey out of a fight by doing likewise to Anders, preyed upon Holly again, driving her into an outright claws-and-fangs fight with S’siri, and even employed a bit of glamour to trick Anri and Gavin into a brief falling out. Suffice to say, Piotr’s slippery tongue is not to be underestimated. The clan has a standing warrant out to capture the pearlcatcher, but he always manages to slip back into the shadows before he can be taken in.
