KRYSANTHA
\kri-ˈsan(t)-thə\ Krysantha, or Krys, loves festivities of all kinds, especially if they involve glitter. The scent of herbs follows in her wake. Wild and impulsive, Krysantha doesn't plan ahead or consider consequences. She lives in the moment and gets antsy when she feels like she has a schedule she must follow. Details
Relationships Rosen;
Her mate. They say opposites attract, and that is definitely the case with eccentric, energetic Krys and soft-spoken Rosen. Possibly because she is so easy-going, Krys doesn't mind that Rhaen is infatuated with her mate, and trusts that Rosen won't let anything come of it.
Chai;
Krysantha's closest friend. The two are practically inseparable and are the life of any party.

ASARUM
\as-ˈer-əm\ Asarum runs a silk caravan that travels between the Sunbeam Ruins and the Windswept Plateau. Large wagons pulled by Borans and laden with luxurious silks and supplies travel the main roads of the Tangled Wood and trundle along the coast between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the Scarred Wasteland. The caravan continues up the Steppes, stopping along the way to sell their wares and trade stories. The slim Skydancer is an aimiable sort who enjoys spontaneity. While his caravan makes its way along their route, Asarum often flies ahead, or strikes off in a random direction for a day or two before meeting back up with the wagons. While he's just searching for an adventure, this frivolity tends to make Fern worry about his safety. Description Details
Relationships Fern;
His mate. The Skydancers met on the road near Vellinym; the dance troupe Fern was travelling with had plans to stay in the city for several weeks to perform and Asarum was restocking his caravan. They had an immediate connection, and when Asarum set out on his usual trade route, Fern decided to join him on a whim.
Nandi;
An acquaintance made through Fern. When the caravan stops in Vellinym, the Skydancers stay with Nandi although it makes Asarum a bit uncomfortable. Nandi teases him for this.
Asarum was enjoying the cool breezes. He was content, gliding gracefully through the sky and watching his train of wagons far below. His shimmering mate joined him and they looped through the sparse clouds together, grinning as they danced. They made lazy circles around each other and spoke of small things for a time. "Are you pleased to return home?" "Very much," Asarum replied. "I do love to travel, but the Steppes will always call me back." |

FERN
\ˈfərn\ A dancer by trade, Fern masterfully paints emotions with movement. Even when she's just speaking, her subtle body shifts have a delicate grace that is utterly captivating. The troupe she was raised with and performed with for many years traveled extensively, and Fern has acquaintances all across the globe as a result. Each one of them is more than happy to offer her free board and a hot meal in exchange for a performance, so she is never without shelter. Fern hasn't needed to use those resources since she met Asarum, however. The Skydancers have a luxurious pavillion complete with down pillows and a beautiful harp. Fern is a skilled musician and everyone is held in thrall when she plays.

Relationships Asarum;
Her mate. She felt an undeniable spark when they met and they spent a week in each other's company, as though the rest of the world had fallen away. When Asarum had to depart with his caravan, Fern could not bear the thought that she might not cross his path again and made the decision to leave her troupe. It was a hard choice, leaving those she had spent her whole life with, but she has not regretted it for even a second.
Nandi;
Fern's troupe had known Nandi for years, and a friendship grew out of the acquaintance. They trade stories and laughter every time Fern is in Vellinym. The dancer has convinced her mate to give Nandi a good price for the silks she buys for The Painted Lady, and she provides them with a place to stay in return.
