Name meaning: Friend of the moon

Moonkin is a shy coatl, much to the surprise of her parents, and does not like confrontation. She speaks in the quietest tones but she does not speak often. Moonkin is also very handy when it comes to building things and she has made herself a flying contraption to give her and other flightless dragons a chance to taste the sky. Moonking was born with only one functional wing, but she is not ashamed of her deformity. Instead, she sees her wing as motivation to assist other dragons that have it worse off. Moonkin's best friend, Jaguar, supports everything Moonkin does and has pushed her to fulfill her dreams.
In midsummer, plants die. Moonkin knew this, yet she couldn't help but feel sorry and guilty that she had killed one of her mate's plants again. Scion and Moonkin had become mates on a day like the one she was living, but with a lot more dramatics involved. In short, or the way Moonkin would put it,"A guy met a girl and he hated her until he didn't. The end."
