A natural born healer and trained holistic pharmacist, Ray acts as a midwife and nurse for many mothers and fighters in the clan. She is the 8th and current standing matriarch, and since her initial arrival with her guard and mate Marat, she's ushered in a new age of knowledge, medicine and wealth to the dragons who reside here under her. In her free time, when she's not teaching a class of novice healers, she collect books and manages a local library; there's many nights where she can be found by candlelight, documenting new findings and recipes to keep for the clan for future use.

As the product of a very dangerous and unlikely clutch due to her mother's health conditions, it came as a surprise to her birth lair that both the eggs and mom survived in the end. In the warmth of the light nest, watched over closely by their tired mother, hatched three wide eyed tundra dragons: Luck, Radiance, and lastly Ray. Comforting twinkles of light danced around the four, as if a blessing from Lightweaver herself.

Much of Ray's early life is blurry, but if there's one thing she remembers fondly it's keeping at her mother's heels and doing her best to help assist the many patients that they'd attend to. Though Ray aspired to become like her mother she longed for the loving families they'd often come across, finding her own mother to be quite cold and distant, while her father was completely absent. Before her first birthday, Ray packed up her belongings, kissed her family and clan goodbye, and set out into the world to find the family she'd been searching for.

Her travels lead her to study at a Nature aligned temple for a year before setting out again. While traveling tentatively around a fresh, empty battlefield, she came across a lone, heavily sounded guardian light soldier hiding amongst the foliage. With careful claws, gentle paws, medicine and just a bit of magic, Ray went to work on the fighter before he could even utter a word.
