Cabanela is a curiously eccentric detective who doesn't seem to take things too seriously. That's quite the contrast, if you look at his job and track record. He's the head detective of his city's Special Crimes Department, and he didn't get there without working hard to keep a squeaky clean record. His white coat is a signature fashion style, but also represents the lengths that he's gone to achieve perfection.

Due to the more serious nature of his job and the crimes he studies, he's not exactly best of friends with too many people, even the others on the police force. A long time ago, he did have a partner-in-crime, of sorts... Detective Jowd. But in a cruel twist of fate, crime came upon Jowd and his family, and since this incident, the two have drifted far apart.

Missile is brave and loyal, but his first instinct to danger is to bark at it until it goes away. Regardless, he's a courageous little animal.
